As the Guilford County School District (GCS) may be tinkering with school disctrict boundry lines, it is always safest to check directly with the schools site, or the GCS site, on the latest news (although we will do our best to keep up with it here, as well).

The Guilford County School District has recently voted to eliminate the 'High Point Choice Program' but have voted to alter the boundry lines for certain High Point Schools. Check the schools website or the Districts website for additional information, although we will try to keep current with it here, as well.

· Assign the Penny Road area from Southwest High and Middle to Andrews and Welborn
· Assign the Parkview attendance zone from Andrews and Welborn to Southwest High and Middle
· Assign the Leonard Avenue area (south to E. Green Dr. between College Rd. and the 311 Bypass)

· Assign the Shadybrook attendance area from Andrews (area east of Johnson St. and west of Oak

Founded in 1982, the Piedmont School is a place where children who are struggling in a traditional educational environment can achieve their learning potential.
